Chris,
I found the post about the cheap man's press - all I can say is. I'm happy that it worked for him but that's not my luck. My luck is that the boat trailer would slip and destroy my gear, somehow that slip would cause a catastrophic trailer failure which would eject my boat off the trailer and through the side of my garage. I'm extremely fortunate that I have a harbor freight down the road from me and a 20% off coupon in my hand. I'm going to head over there and pick up the 12 ton standup press. Unless the 6 ton bench top A-frame press will work. Thoughts?

So I've been looking everything over and getting ready to replace the bearings tomorrow. The manual shows using the bearing separator on what I assume is a press. I've looked over a ton of YouTube videos trying to find where someone has done this. I haven't found anything except auto videos and it looks as if everyone suggests using a cutting wheel to remove the majority of the bearing and then use the separator to remove the rest. Can someone walk me through the best way to remove these bearings? I would GREATLY appreciate your help!
I'm asking about removing the upper roller bearing assembly on a Alpha one Gen 2
