Hello.

I am a total noob when it comes to outboards and recently purchased a 71 Glaspar that has a Mercury 402 outboard. I have gone through it and only have one remaining issue to solve. I need some help identifying what this hose is and how to access the bottom end of it (the non visible side). Also any suggestions on where I can find a replacement would be great.

Thanks Scott. I am trying to get the image uploaded. I guess I have to have a certain number of posts to be able to upload.

Posted a picture of the leaking hose.

My main problem is that I cannot access the bottom end of the hose. I would need to remove the lower Cowl form what I can see. Seems like a big task to remove the power head just to access the end of this hose. Is there a better way?
