1995 150hp mercury efi too rich

that's good but, what happens if tha one get and motor does same thing?.. is ecu ya bought good or bad?.. or something else?.. thats why testin' with a "known good one" is important... i've bought my share of dead ducks that were promised ta be good from some very reputable folks... no change with temp and map sensor test could be tha answer.... have you ever had injectors cleaned?.. new o-rings on fuel rail?.. changed filter in vst, big water/fuel filter, fuel lines?

jus noticed you haven't said anything 'bout fire at plugs???

It has new plugs and a blue spark at the end of the spark plug wire so i figured that is fine. New fuel line from tank to motor and haven't seen a clogged one or leaking one on the motor. Water separator filter is new. Injectors or orings haven't been cleaned or replaced that i know of. I haven't checked the final filter yet either but i figured if it was restricted or clogged it wouldn't make it run rich. I just purchased this boat and don't know previous maintenance.

did ya see all six firin' when its turned over?... not necessarily "restricted".. junk from whatever gets by filters and screws up tha injectors.. what you've got is really hard ta figure ona keyboard!

All six plugs are firing a blue spark. I'll let you know how that ecu works out. I would rather wait and try that before I dig that deep into the motor.
