I just scored a 72 johnno stinger the first model with elec shift, i want power tilt for him it has a wierd cast alloy bracket hanging off the right side of the tilt tube my guess is for a single ram tilt only set up, where might i find one? Knowing little about these apart from what i read they say they had big carbys, different head, different intake and compression in there day would flog the pants of the 6 cylinder mercs, what can the brains trust tell me bout these, has mean machine on back off cover apparently of the stinger models this one is the rarest the fastest and the best.

No Title

'72 was the last year of Hydro-Electric shift, not first.
Does your tilt kit look like this? (Yeah, yeah, I know, this is wrong year, but similar)

It a stock 60hp with high compression head, chevy orange paint and special decals ...nothing rare or special. Only Mercs it would flog is the early 60's Inlines. As for the tilt/trim options if its the 15"short shaft=tilt option only or 20" mid =tilt or trim if you find the wing bracket.
