Fuel filter inside 1995 30 HP Evinrude (E30ELE0B)?

Does a 1995 30 HP Evinrude (E30ELE0B) have a fuel filter inside? If so, could being plugged make the engine lurch twice, alarm sound, and engine stop?

How do I inspect the fuel filter if it has one to know if it needs to be replaced?

New to you motor ??----There should be a fine screen in the fuel pump.----No that screen plugged does not make motor go " bump " and sound an alarm.-----Checked the waterpump impeller ?
