Anyone know of legitimate sites for PDF downloads of owners manuals for older (1989) evinrude?

Those manuals are copyrighted, so legitimate downloads is unlikely. And a probably cause of boatnfo no longer being in online and operational.

Bought original service manuals for my '75 Johnson and '88 Force on Ebay. They aren't expensive.

Found my shop manual on ebay for super cheap (20 bucks shipped). The generic books that cover multiple years and models are worthless IMO. Spend the money and get the specific shop manual for your motor, wish I wasn't an idiot and did that in the first place....

Asked numerous times since it went dark, answer always the same: nobody knows for sure
All is speculative, as was my original post @ copyright reasons.

And remember, this is not a topic about that site or why its dark, so let have no further discussion about it.

because the ISP hosting the site was purchased. the amount of traffic to the site required the site owner to pay more for hosting a bit of info here http://aomci.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14778

it may or may not ever be back.
