Can we persuade Mr Joe Reeves to stay ???
Guys Joe has been a great help to a lot of folks. His knowledge is priceless.
If you would like him to stay and help us out, Like this comment hopefully by seeing how many of us would like him to stay we may just manage to persuade him to stay a wee bity longer.
Thanks guys
Andy

I'm new here but I can see lots of value in having Joe around, I started a thread about my prop spinning in neutral and I said I could stop the prop with my foot..

F_R responded and tagged at the end -please don't put your foot in it. I'm thinking Joe thought that was a poke at him. And I see it as a poke at me. A cute poke, indeed.

I dont think it was a poke at you nor Joe.
F_R was being serious. You can lose your foot if you put it on a moving prop.
He was just trying to keep you safe.

Guys just to set everyone's mind at ease. I am not doing this to get likes on my profile.
I want us to show Joe that we would really like him to stay around for a bit longer.

Dang! A guy can't say anything without somebody taking offense. I wasn't poking at anybody. Just saying don't stick your foot in a moving prop-----or even one that isn't moving for that matter. As a long-ago lawn mower mechanic, I've seen several co-workers seriously injured by sticking their hands or feet under a mower---yes even if not running.

Joe has made appx 12,000 posts on here and if wants to sit on the side line that’s ok.....but I believe this place has its hooks in him and hope he can’t stay away for long!!!! And I thought everyone knew not to put any body part under a mower let alone a spinning prop?!?!?SMH.

Guys - This should even not be a matter for discussion. Give Joe the space to make his own decision.
