New V8 And V6 Outboards From Mercury.

Today Merc announced 12 new V8 outboards and a New V6. From 175 to 300HP.

I saw the V6 a couple of months ago at Edmonton Boat Show

They said some of the V6's were shown earlier in the year. Still waiting for my Lotto check to show up before I ask about prices. :faint:

There was some jibber-jabber over on THT about Merc doing away with the supercharged Verado line, but I see that is not true. Super charged Verado's are still part of the line-up.

Looking at the Merc website and a line of motors did die. The Optimax models are no longer in the lineup, not easily found if they are. Maybe Merc is out of the 2 stroke business?
