305 Stalling

When I throttle back and drop the rpms to idle, the engine stalls and quits. After warming up the engine it still stalls. Runs well at 2000 rpm but anything below it begins to stutter and then eventually quits. When I put it into reverse it stalls and quits. 1998 Ebbtide with 305 engine, Alph 1 Gen II.

check the shift interupt switch. if you cant adjust it, you may need a new lower shift cable.
