Transom mount transducer question

I just finished the preliminary installation of a Garmin GT52 transducer on my trailerable aluminum boat. Everything looks good, even according to the instruction manual, but would like to test it before I apply 5200 to the mounting screws just in case I have to move it up or down. I'm a little leery of splashing it without any sealant on the screws and even if I use a less permanent adhesive/sealant I'll still have to loosen the screws, thus breaking the seal, in order to make any adjustments. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

It takes a week for 5200 or 4200 to cure as long as you don't use the fast cure version.

So it can be sealed, tested and left alone if it works correctly. If it doesn't, simply reposition and test again. When the transducer is in the right place if it needed moving, remove and reseal one screw at a time.
