1984 Merc 60hp 3cyl Bogging down in gear, Please help

Hi All, i have a 1984 Merc 60hp. Can run in Neutral for ever. Can run in fwd gear idle forever. The second you throttle up it bogs down and dies. Carbs are clean you can eat off of them (including jets). No holes in fuel pump. New fuel lines and 12g gas tank. Compression even on all cyl. Good spark on all cyl. I read somewhere it can be my cdi box? Anyone have a E-repair manual by any chance?

Open up the low speed mixture needles 1/8 turn and test run.----Still bogging ? ---repeat the 1/8 turn adjustment till bogging goes away.----Usually works on these Mercury motors.

No ---the idle mixture screws.----They are clearly shown , item #7 on that carburetor.

Hey, i remember in the past you emailed me an e-manual long time ago. Do you happen to have one for this motor?

my mistake. i have another question, i bought a seloc repair manual but there is no section for diagnosing a problem? shouldn't there be a section for that?

Some repair manuals were meant to be used in the wee house with the 1/4 moon in the door !
