Gasket on 1964 Evinrude Yachtwin fuel line connection?

I believe I may have discovered the reason for my fuel leak at where the line screws into the carb. I was looking at a picture I took when I first found the motor, and I noticed a cork gasket at the connection. I vaguely remember it crumbling as i took the line off which would explain its disappearance. I bought a complete OMC carb rebuild kit right off the Evinrude website but I dont see the gasket in there anywhere. Perhaps somebody installed that later on by themself?
I will attatch a picture showing the gasket when it was on the motor and the small parts that were included in the kit. (The other packages were the float, large gaskets, needle and seat etc.

Here is the small parts package
From what I can tell there is
1 float shaft
1 needle gasket/seal
6 cork packing washers (why 6 if I dont need that many?)
2 different sized welch plugs (I'm guessing that I need the smaller one?)
1 red o ring (i believe this is for the drain plug/ high speed orifice access?)
___________________________________________________________
Then the other parts leave me confused
1 gray "donut shaped" o ring (what's that for)
2 clear plastic o rings (what are these for)
1 small kotter pin (whats this for?)

If anyone could tell me what those additional parts are for (and if i got any of the other ones wrong) I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!

You are mistaken, there is no gasket on the fuel line connection. It is either an inverted flare or compression sleeve fitting, not 100% sure which. But best evidence says a compression sleeve. Would need a good picture of the dis-assembled fitting and cavity in the carb.

It is a copper line that screws into the carb, maybe somebody else put that on there to try and combat leaking. Any idea what the other parts could be for??

Kits generally are for multiple models, so you won't use all parts. The nylon washers go after the packing to protect them when you tighten the packing nut. I'm not sure what those big donut shaped orings are for. I've got a bunch of those in my leftover parts bin.

Great, thanks! I'm glad i wasn't missing something. Any idea what the small cotter pin is for?
EDIT: also I noticed that there are 6 cork packing washers included, do I put 2 or 3 in each? I have the fixed high speed jet anyway so I only need one set. At least now I'll have extra...

One nylon washer behind the packing nut, then two packings. Cotter pin is for the throttle link (some motors), but a piece of wire was originally used. Dang if I know what the o-ring is for.
