I bought this in January and when I got in home, put the motor off to work in my heated garage (Canadian winters)

First thing I did was; got a Factory repair manual of E-bay
Then read just about ever thing that I could find on my new "two projects"
Went over all the wiring & work the P.O. did (wrong)
With help from this site I got her purring nicely, the boat I have not done much with; other then a good wash.

Tomorrow I'm heading north to open up Camp and try her out on the lake to see what need adjustment & work out the bugs.

Thank you all for the help & knowledge that was provided to make this an enjoyable project.

I had one of those 16' Bayliners with the 85 hp outboard when I was 22. I was just thrilled to be able to have my own boat.
I paid $4700 for it in 1985, 7 years later, sold it for $4200. Used it twice a week for water skiing. It ran perfectly, never broke, and while not top quality, it got me on the water for almost free.

I live in Brampton, but my Camp is up in the Bruce Peninsula; so I can go left into Lake Huron & right into Georgian Bay
