i know well enough by now to know the rules on judging what prop. God knows I’ve preached them well enough myself.
But. With a light 16ft boat and a merc 150 V6 I’d love to know what prop guys are running with similar. I’m assuming the gear ratio is the standard 2-1 or 1.8-1 worst case. I haven’t had the boat in the water yet and not sure I’ll have the tachometer working by the time I do. It will only be in the water for a brief time after the new engine transplant.
Previously ive had the same engine on a similar hull and it was well set up with a 23” laser 2.
Currently has a 21”. Likely it’s going to over Rev beyond its 5800 suggested limit ? Is this the max for this 2.0 motor ?
