1977 6 hp evinrude won’t start

I was on the water going slow and the motor stops I pulled the flywheel and saw that some thing is rubbing.

Move the sensor coil and charge coil so they do not rub on the magnets.

Unusual for misalignment like this to just happen out of the blue.

Nothing besides water pump and thermostat

I’m not real familiar with the anatomy of my engine where would that be
