Distributor cap screws

Misplaced the 2 screws that hold down the distributor cap. T-20 torx head mercy part number 10-884786. Can’t seem to find any info on what thread pitch they are so I can buy a couple new ones. Anybody know??

There metric, and right now don't remember the number. If one ever gets stripped out, get the next size up and re-tap. This is what I did on mine

Yeah I tried that route but when you live on an island in the middle of nowhere, parts are hard to find.....unless you own an outboard then everyone in town carries parts

Thanks for the help guys. After tearing apart the garage I finally found them. Always the last place you look

:thumb:Was curious to know the size in case metsfan3197843 or someone else ever needed it so I went looking and see GM recommends the same idea as they have a few sizes/part numbers shown for trucks that used the same cap design back in 1998...Trying a copy and paste of the info provided below the GM link as I'm not sure if the link would go down after awhile.
