Ayuh,..... That's for an Outboard motor, not an I/O,....

That's what we're looking for, an outboard box.

OP. That one will work just fine...

It's just an ON/OFF switch connected in series with the purple wire (KEY ON)...

If you ground it, it'll blow the (20A) fuse...

yeah, I know. but since it's for a smaller outboard and many of those use magneto's and require grounding to kill, I wasn't sure if that is how it worked.. If that is actually the way it worked, and would be normally open ( lanyard plugged in ), a jumper wire to the negative side of the coil would interrupt the ignition. Just passing a ground circuit to the coil

as long as i know it's a simple on off switch, normally closed, it's really simple to add it in the ignition circuit
