Alpha one drive oil reservior question

So for some reason every time I look at my reservior there's oil on the cap. I don't see how i happens, the oil in the reservoir itself is on the low side but oil keeps showing up on top of the cap. I guess it's not a big problem but it's weird.

Need to replace the cap. The cap has a one way valve (rubber thing) which allows pressure to come in but not out. Yours is letting pressure out when it gets warmed up. The lube expands and leaks out, and the reason your bottle is low

I saw the rubber thing but didn't think with the level being two inches below it would come out. That's an easy fix.

Engine vibration means the oil in the bottle is everywhere. If the rubber flap valve isn't sealing properly, oil will get on the outside of the cap. Replace the cap...

Good point. That 3.0 is a paint shaker.
