One last thing is the carb bowl cork gaskets and bowl bolt washers were leaking just a tad when i pressurized the system with the squeezie. Tested it while i was in there adjusting the linkages.
Dont know when that started. Perhaps i tightened them too much? I did the kit last year. Just noticed them leaking again.
Needles are sealing...so thats not a problem.
I ordered new kits again and maybe thatll seal it up.
Anything else one can do to prevent those carb gaskets/washers from leaking? Torque setting perhaps? I just got it good n tight....maybe i cranked on it a little bit much and caused it to leak? Those cork gaskets are pretty thin. But I inspected the top carb and it didnt look split so im not sure what happened.
Anyways thanks for all the help. I think ive got it set up right, just gotta wait for parts now. Luckily we dont get iced over here so itll be mid 50s by the time i get back out there...Ill update soon.
