Hello Duratech forum! I just picked up another Duratech boat to restore, I'm fairly sure it's a 1962 model. I think the hull can be brought back with a bunch of elbow grease but we'll see after I get it stripped of the mess. It spent most of its life on the Maine coast until it was brought up to central Maine near where I live, in fact, it was only about 3 miles away.

This boat was advertised as 17'9'' long, with an 85" beam, and 850 pounds without motor. Lots to think about so I'm glad I have the winter to plan. I want to record the project but I'd also like to see the Duratech forum hang in there. Thanks for looking!

Thanks. It's all aluminum except for rotted plywood here and there, lol.

It is. There won't be much progress until spring unless I can shoehorn it into my garage. Working on that currently. Thanks for your interest.
