Looking for poly fuel tank parts

I have a skyline industries 134 gal poly tank. im trying to source gaskets for the sender and the ports.

model: 2B134A-B
Material: XLPE
Thickness: .275

Anyone know where i can find what im looking for?

Any idea where I can get the other items? I would like to replace the ports themselves Ali d with the gaskets... lots of corrosion

technically you should replace the whole tank. however there are tank ports available

How old is the tank?

Have you removed the ports? Often if the ports are corroded, the threads in the poly can be destroyed.

Also in the wrong section - V-P. More members will see it after the move.

because only the tank manufacturer is certified by the USCG to install the ports on the fuel tank. the whole safety so you dont blow up liability thing.

that being stated, they are simple bulkhead tank fittings.

Slightly different than what fittings I was thinking about.

When you go to the auto parts store for the sender gasket, pick up a roll of gasket material suitable for fuel usage and make your own.

Trim them better than whoever made the reddish square one.

simply google bulkhead tank fittings....... and go from there. McMaster Carr has them in 316, however your looking at about $450 in fittings.

Ouch! now i see why a new tank is better than a fitting..i quickly googled like u mentioned but haven't found a replacement...

. I made new gaskets for those flanges... snugged up nice. but they are very corroded... i would like to replace them...

The fill and vent hoses have been replaced.

what is the purpose of the bulkhead?

Any idea what a machine shop would charge to make them? gotta be less than $450

Can I just make a 3/8 aluminum plate with a bung to plug the hole in the bulk fitting? I don’t see the use for it? The nuts in the tank are solid.

I’m looking at also making a 3/8 aluminum plate to except a moller pickup with anti siphon. ?

Skyline uses steel fittings for fuel pickup. Not sure why.

I replaced my fuel pickup fitting with a garboard drain flange. They are pretty close in size and form, but you will need to drill new holes to match the tank threaded inserts.

You will need to make a gasket. I also needed to use a gasket dressing suitable for gasoline, to seal it. Autozone has that product.

I wouldnt use aluminum unless its a 5000 series, I would use bronze, stainless, or Monel.
