Hi Guys,

Just wondering if I can get some thought on the below for my Eagle 150.

98 150 Ocean Runner with 250hours. Owned motor for 6 months
Compression 90-95psi on all 6. I get WOT at 5600 with Cobra prop.

I have for months been trying to work out why I keep having a slight over oil issue on my 150 60 Degree. I have completed the following to date.

Replaced all fuel hoses to screen filter with 3/8.
New fuel filters genuine BRP
New Oring's fuel screen, at fuel bracket
New clamps on the hoses including at the OMS
Tested OMS pulse and seems and no leaks.
New primer and water sept
There's no anti siphon on the tank.
Replaced all the carb kits
Had to slightly sand bowls with small warp. They hold just fine.
Cleaned out the Oil tank, purge new oil through line.
Replaced the old style cap with new BRP vent type.
New primer solenoid gasket and turn piece.

It does not throw any alarms or fuel restriction issues. It has System Check and it works.

After the works above the primer bulbs hold pressure over 24hrs right up to the fuel housing/filter. So know it's not the new lines. I understand once fuel is in the carbs and housing it's not meant to hold pressure, just meant to fill carbs initially.

Originally it was a lot worse, and we had burned a set of QL78 plugs, this was because of the cap causing negative pressure.

We went skiing on Monday with the new Champion plus, the photo attached shows the colour. They are glazed with oil for the short time trolling to winch the boat. I suspected there's still an air leak or hole in OMS pump somewhere, due to the smoke at hot start up after sitting for 5min.

I pulled the engine down this morning and noticed the VAC switch hose from the vapour separator had oil on it. The spring clamps were loose as. Could this cause the air leak issue so much that OMS over pulses? I have re-clamped this hose at both ends.

I noticed there is a slight warped at the vapour separator fitting, will this cause the issue?

I'm want to nail this as I don't want to be getting new plugs every 20hrs.

I'm yet to pull down the fuel pump as I wouldn't think be the issue if I can get such good rev range. I have read around here that a hole in diaphragm will cause more pulses, do you guys believe this should be my next check?

I'm trying to upload the photos but I get an EXE Disabled error.
