A day after I had changed my worn-out primer squeeze-bulb; the carbs. were starving for fuel.
I removed the fuel-pump & opened it up for inspection, there I found pieces of material that I can only assume are remnants of the check-valve of the primer squeeze-bulb.
Another lesson learned; When replacing a (worn-out) squeeze-bulb inspect the fuel-pump
