74 omc 190 engine zincs location

Hi! I purchased a sea ray srv220 few months ago and im just doing some services. The engine is omc 190 ford. Its a raw water cooling system and i cant find the zincs? Can someone help me pls. My friend said something like a candle or pencil shape zinc? And how many water drain does this engine have? So far i found 2 at exhaust manifold and 2 at engine block.

Howdy
It depends on which OMC drive you have as to which anodes (zincs) are used. Have a look here

The drain plugs may be the only ones used unless you have a power steering cooler which is mounted low for open cooled motor.

The only zink on your OMC is the #982277 which is located below the intermediate housing exhaust . This zink is on the website that AD suggested.
If this is a trailered fresh water boat then it is probably all you need.
You can add some small ones to the cavitation plate by just drilling some mounting holes and bolting them on.

Hi alldodge! Its a omc sterndrive with electric shifter. Pretty old stuff. So far no issues yet.

Hi Kenny, thats what im worried about. I found that zinc below intermediate housing exhaust. Nothing internally you think? Man how can I make this engine last? Or just start saving for a newer engine.

There isn't any internally
Are you having trouble with corrosion now?
Does the boat stay in the water and if so is it fresh or salt?

No corrosion buildup yet. It stays in the salt water.

Maintenance and flushing

If you intend to boat in salt water, the motor is less of an issue than the drive.
