2006 Mercury Verado oil leak

Hey everyone I hope someone can help diagnose the issue. I purchased the Boat in Maryland and I had compression tests done on both engines. The mechanics at the shop in Maryland said they changed the oil and when I got the boat to Colorado oil was leaking through the small hole on the lower unit. I took the boat to a mechanic in Colorado and the oil had been top filled and over filled and not changed. The mechanic in Colorado changed all the gear oil and engine oil. I took the boat out and the oil pressure alarm went off. I pulled the cowling off and oil was spiting through dip stick tube. Does this engine have a PCV valve that could be sticking. The mechanic has the boat again and hasnt had time to look at it. Please help

orriginally thats what happened but that was corrected and when I ran the engines with the correct oil levels it blew the dip stick up and oil went all over the engines

that happens from overfilled oil. So it might have still been overfilled, or the level went up while running from water or fuel intrusion.

Thanks for the info.. Do these engines have a PCV Valve? I have found a ton of conflicting information on the web. 4 stroke Mercury Verado 250 hpr. I cant find any info in the owner manual either.

my 300 hp Verado does not. Assume the same for yours.

Mine is manufactured in 2006 what year is yours? The Mechanic believes it does and swears it was not over filled I saw the dip stick after he ran it. Any other ideas?

I have a 2018. Just looked again at my service manual. No mention of one. Also, the oil vent tubes don't have one shown. Maybe the tube is plugged or collapsed.

did the mechanic fully tilt the motor up for a few minutes, then lower it down and let it sit for a few minutes before checking the oil - that is the required procedure.
