First day on water. Day started good with full throttle getting me up to 4600 rpm. Stopped for the day to anchor, hang out and lunch. 4 hours later got underway. The boat would start, idle and accelerate at low throttle. When reaching 3000 rpm, the boat would bog down. Couldn't get over 2200 rpm or it would shut off.

At the end of season i replaced the fuel filter stone with a cartridge. I run non ethanol gas. I don't have a water fuel separator. Very new to boats so any help is appreciated.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... I'd suspect a fuel delivery issue,.....

Seein's ya don't have a canister type fuel filter, I suggest you install one just before the fuel pump, to make diagnosin' these issues easier in the future,....
The contents can tell you where to look for the problem,....

How old is the gas,..??
Does it still "Smell" like gasoline,..??

Thanks for the reply. Did some YouTubing and a bunch of people are pointing to a bad fuel pump. I feel comfortable in swapping this out.

I filled the tank for winter sonas not to get condensation. Filled in December, again no ethanol.

I like the idea of the fuel/water separator. I will have to search on how to install one. I drive a deisel so understand the concept just not sure of the execution of putting one in
