Code 12 just means there are no stored codes

When cranking do you see the Tach show at least 300 rpm?

What would that signify.
Are you asking about the 300 rpm's?
If so, for the ECM to turn ON the injectors it first has to see that the distributor is firing. If the Tach doesn't show the rpm's then either the Tach doesn't work or the distributor isn't firing

I am going to order the quicksilver cap and sensor after reading people having issues with other brands. When I look up the the part number I believe is correct for the coil it pops up for a valucraft from auto zone. Is this correct can I get one at local part store? Should I try and find a quicksilver one?

There are no differences between auto and marine coils. That said its hardly ever the coil, but you do want one with an internal resistor, not one that uses external resistor

Awesome. Yeah I figured I may as well change it while I’m doing it all. Could hurt.

Would anyone know if a auto parts store would have a distributor cap and rotor that would work till my quicksilver one comes in?
