Halfway through fishing season, and some oil is showing up in my bilge. Turns out it's time for a new oil pan.

My engine is a late model 3.0 LX Alpha One.

I'm seeing that there are oil pans for 1 and 2 piece rear main seal. Anyone know which I need?

Hoping to get the pan on the way, and get the engine jerked out and prepped in the interim for a speedy return to the water before Chinooks head into frsh water.

Take a close look at the timing cover, it has areas that were never painted and this would be a good time to replace it also.

Yeah, it's all getting a little taste of the rattle can of love.

Whole engine is coming out this winter, and getting stripped down completely and built back new.

But I'd like to put a few more Salmon in the freezer before the season is over, and I'm not putting a boat in big salt water with JB weld and a prayer on the Swiss cheese oil pan. So this round will be a quickie.
