What specific (or range) year/hp Johnson motor (if any) with a generator be compatible with a ‘67 33hp evinrude? Looking for a generator for the 33 evinrude and have come acoss a few Johnson motors that have them (last was a 40 hp on a 68 skiff). Wanting to put one on the restore project I have going on. Also, what treat (again, if any) will the hardware (brackets, etc) fit this 33 evinrude. Thank you for any info.

Ski Twin Vs Big Twin is a different motor. The generators may be the same, but brackets likely won't interchange

The generator itself goes way back to the late 1950's without change. However the brackets had modifications up through the years. And don't forget, you will need a voltage regulator and a place to mount it, and wiring.

I made a new wire harness from the motor to the junction box, but would like to add the generator. I have a manual that depicts the wire size and other items needed to install the generator. Just have to collect the parts.

You just need to know how and where to look to find parts for these motors.-----Big dealers are interested in the " willing to spend "----$10,000 or more folks.-----Often not interested in the DIY crowd where they spend 30 minutes answering questions on a $5.00 sale.
