I'm really confused about how I'm supposed to post.18ft closed bow, probably a Holiday.

My new to me 1970 18' holiday
Hey guys, just want to say I love the Starcraft forum. I been reading the forum and checking out restorations for over 10 years, and just have never posted. Using the great info on here my brother and I painted his 14 foot Starcraft constellation 10+ years ago. When I was a youngster my uncle...forums.iboats.com
Could have used this topic to ask @Splashwell & brackets
most covered in the rules you agreed to when you signed up.I'm really confused about how I'm supposed to post.
I have spent time in a lot of forums and most want people to post their question in an existing thread so topics stay consolidated.
Perhaps you can give me a rundown how, where, and when, you would prefer me to post.
If it means ticking you off and not wanting me here. I'll be fine with that.

No, I intended for you to read and look at the pictures at the linked topic I posted, for reference, not to post & ask questions.Well, this is why I'm confused.
I posted in the splashwell thread that was on the exact topic I wanted to discuss. You then post this:
"Start a topic about your Starcraft and ask questions there.
Closed".
.
So you close that thread.
I then start my own thread asking a different question not related to splashwells and you say that I should have asked this question here over there.
I did not post multiple threads on the same question.rules 11 and 12
you posted in a long dead thread, and you have multiple posts on the same topic that were combined.
11. Please do not post multiple threads in multiple forums about a single problem. This is confusing to those trying to help you. Multiple threads in the same forum about the same issue are also confusing. If you want help fast, one thread in the most closely related forum is the best way to get it.
12. Please do not post to threads that have been inactive for more than approximately 3 months UNLESS you are the original poster. We have very active forums and any thread that remains inactive for that long should be considered "dead". It is especially confusing when there is an entirely new question posted to an old thread. This is considered a hijack. Hijacked threads may be closed and hijacking posts may be deleted or moved at the discretion of the Administrators and Moderators. Please start a new thread of your own for the best possible help from forum members.
Okay, thanks. No, I intended for you to read and look at the pictures at the linked topic I posted, for reference, not to post & ask questions.
Your 1st post in this topic was asking what model, so since I think its a Holiday, I showed you where to look and compare yours to a Holiday.
When you started a new topic, I figured you still wanted to discuss splashwells & brackets, but didn't start a topic about it, only what model. It was a suggestion, if you wanted to, that you could have started this topic as
My new to me Starcraft, I have questions
or whatever and ask what model AND the bracket/splashwell questions all in 1 place. A 197x Starcraft, whatever model, only came w 1 splashwell/bracket setup, possibly across multiple years of manufacture, decades even. Sorta goes together to me:
Year, Make, Model and the details of each.
Don't confuse brevity w over criticism or rudeness, Mods view hundreds of diverse topics everyday, 7days a week, month after month. So some get views, some get comments, few get replies as long as this one.
Good luck w your new to you Starcraft, it's probably a Holliday.
Oh, and every forum operates differently, some seem to have little to no rules and few if any daily active Mods. This is the most active member, Mod and Moderator action forum I frequent, and there are more then 8, not including Facebook and a dozen groups there.
Each is setup differently, here per the Iboats.com forum Admin team, and their rules, after 90days w no new posts from who ever started a topic, it should be for research/reference only and treated like a library book & don't write in it.
Again best of luck w your project, lots of knowledgeable and active tin head SC fans hang around here
I need to clean it up more. I just got it yesterday, but I've been wanting an 18 foot StarCraft for a couple years now. It's what my father-in-law had.I’ve always liked that green with white seats and top. I vote Holiday also. Got any interior pics?
