I have developed an issue that has fried 2 starter soliniods...first time it was no start and the gouges jumped to full on...and same again...what could cause this

I have developed an issue that has fried 2 starter soliniods...first time it was no start and the gouges jumped to full on...and same again...what could cause this

It is a ford 302 if that makes a difference
