Mercruiser start issue

I have an issue with start...all of a sudden it wouldn't start and when I turn key to start the oil pressure and temp gage pin full...no dashlights...everything else works

I've changed starter solinoid and the main breaker

DID YOU CRANK THE ENGINE ...? THEN THE ENGINE DOES NOT RUN ?
USE A METER TO LOOK UP WHERE THE VOLTAGE IS !

It started fine....then I shut it off...aboutb15 min then went to restart...and that's all I got...

SO THE ENGINE DID NOT CRANK ..... USE A METER TO SEE THE VOLTAGE ON THE STARTER MOTOR / SOLENOID ....IF THE VOLTAGE NOT ON IT THEN USE THE VOLTMETER TO SEE IF THE KEY SWITCH OR A FUSE OR A CONNECTOR ON THE SWITCH //.. probably the solenoid or the starter motor brushes ..

Right it was just dead...I will get meter out...just seems very random

Bad ground to solinoid...thanks fellas all good now
