Just need to know what wires go to what?

I have a 2006 Volvo S40 and I bought this package on amazon

If anyone could tell me the wire colors in simple steps and where I get these through I mean I have a unibit and ain't afraid to use it lol. I just cant believe they want $300 to do this. I have wired stereos so I doubt it's much worse than those. I hear you can wire them into the break and turn signals and stop?? Ty for any help

you need an adapter (converter) for your volvo (or any european car) to run a trailer.

white is ground, brown is tail lights, yellow is left turn signal, green is right turn signal.

You can't just splice into your system without adding a bunch of diodes

Even if you could figure out how to wire it without damaging your car, those adapters often provide protection for the vehicle.
If your Volvo has a lighting control module or other such animal and it got fried it would make the adapter look like a bargain.

The adapter circuit is actually not just diodes. Easier and cheaper not to make it yourself.
