New Fish Finder

Hi I am looking to upgrade to a newer fish finder and im looking at a Garmin ECHOMAP UHD 74sv Fisher and a Humminbird Helix 7 CHIRP MEGA SI GPS G3N GPS Fishfinder trying to see which would be better since I can get both at around the same price, anyone have any knowledge of them

Make you you compare apples to apples to apples. Hummingbird plays games with their specifications.

A quick check proves this unit is no different. Still playing games with transducers specifications and performance. Still using proprietary mapping as well.

Where are you boating?
The Echomap has packages specific to inland or costal boating.
