I just joined the group, really enjoying all the information and help I'm finding. I'm ex-Navy and noticed there were a lot of folks listed as Master Chief, First Class Petty officer, etc. As a Second Class Petty Officer in the '70's I thought "Wow, there are a bunch of fellow squids here" and thought that was really cool.....then I realized what those titles mean here. Told my wife what happened and she darn near choked on her coffee!
