Aluminum intake corrosion

I've noticed some white corrosion starting on my intake. How do I get rid of that and stop it from happejing

Post a pic. If you are talking the outside of the intake. Paint helps

Usually bead or soda blast it and clear coat it. I’ve used Eastwood Satin Diamond clear on things like carb bodies etc keeps them from corroding. I assume it is on the engine ? Maybe you can hit it with a scotch rite and clear coat it

It's on yes...it not bad but I want to stop it. Good idea on clear

did bodies both the carb bodies and valve covers after bead or soda blasting them. Has held up ok for 2-3 years. I suspect if you degrease hit it with scotch brite clear it you will be ok in terms of decent corrosion resistance
