Might be a stupid question but does the fuel water separator do a good job at filtering out particles from the boats built in fuel tank?
Ok thanksRight up to the point the filter media gets plugged. Then you change filters
The oil filter looking type does an excellent job .Its typically a once a season change.Best to take the filter upon the change and pour the contents into a clear jar or container for further inspection.Pour the contents and let it sit for a few hours and check out whats in there as far as water or particles. If its a mess then consider a twice a year change....if it looks like regular ole fuel, then you are on point with the seasonal change. BTW...NOT a stupid question. CharlieMight be a stupid question but does the fuel water separator do a good job at filtering out particles from the boats built in fuel tank?
