My parents fishing boat is in desperate need of new floors and a new transom. I’ll post some pictures of the restoration here. This is the tear out. It came out like mulch and smelled so bad.

Looks like a garden. You have a project. Take it easy pace yourself and enjoy the journey.
This is just a little fishing boat for a 2 acre pond in their backyard. A BUDGET operation. I'm going to do a good job, but it will not be fancy by any means.

Plywood and stainless screws have been purchased so far.
More shopping to do.

Remember, the stringers rotted years before the floor.

Long before plywood and screws, you need to build a cradle, buy a bunch of tyvek suits, and cut out all the rotten stuff and grind ... grind....grind

It looks to be an aluminum boat, so hopefully the stringers and floor supports are all aluminum too.

Looks like an aluminum boat to me, messy, but no tyvek suits or respirators needed...

This is a very low budget build. This boat sits out in my parents pond and gets exposed to the rain/sun all the time. I don't expect anything here to last forever. Boat probably will never get off their property. what sealant do y'all recommend? I need to coat both the transom and the floors. Ill also need a thread sealant for the screws and bolts on transom. what sealant do y'all recommend for that?
