Forgot to Mention sometimes it will run great from place to place then whatever it is will happen and it will just keep bogging sometimes if I hit the choke it will get up and go like it shouldI’ve got a 1995 evinrude 130 replaced
plugs and plug wires
trigger sensor/
fuel hose
Carbs cleaned x3
fuel pump
fuel filter
Runs fine on muffs put in water it just Boggs down any help greatly appreciated
They don’t seem to be warped to me, i only run 100% pure gas now I’m not saying that it don’t have water in it it could but we have drained the take 2 times it’s just weird how sometimes it will run sometimes it won’t. I definitely think it is a fuel issue I’ve just about ran out of options to checkThe electric primer valve puts fuel directly into the intake air.-----This fuel bypasses the carburetor metering circuits.-----This points to a fueling issue.-----Checked for warped carburetor bowls ?----Water in the fuel ?
We checked it about 2 months ago they was all at 125You can not bring it over.----So post the compression test values.----Can be an important clue.
Have not checked the spark jump yet will do that next, on post 1 that’s a list of everything that’s been replaced, it had vro on it converted to just a regular Johnson/ evinrude fuel pumpPost #1 mentions ---" fuel pump " -----Can you elaborate on that.----It means nothing to me as stated.----And does spark jump a gap of 3/8" on each lead using a test device.
438559 I had seen on here where someone done a swap and listed the same part # so that’s what i thought I’d go withPart # of the pump ?
Have not done anything to pulse limiter so do you think that pump will be strong enough?Pulse limiter removed ?----That pump might be marginal to provide enough fuel.----So have your assistant operate the manual pump and test run.-----And perhaps test run with a portable tank mixed at 50:1.
I will try and send you some videos of what’s it’s doing tomorrow if I canI usually do not assume and think.----I do some simple testing.----But I can not see , hear or touch your motor !!
Why’s that?A learning we will go.
I will never know why anyone would remove a vro on those engines.
Because your motor will run better at lower speeds and pollute less. It's a win, win, win.....motor likes it, mother nature likes it and your pocket book likes it.Why’s that?
