hello all, im in the middle of installing a new closed cooling system and my serpentine belt looks awfuly close to the heat exchanger does anybody have an opinion or rule of thumb for this sort of thing? any input could be helpful thanks,
Make sure the heat exchanger is secured properly. Run it to see if there are any chaffing marks after a while. It may be OK. Serpentine belts tend to be better behaved than V belts because of the tensioner.
