2 HP dt2 v 2.5 fourstroke Suzuki.

Hi folks.
I'm thinking of upgrading to a 2.5 HP Suzuki fourstroke from a dt2. Will there be any difference in power. ?

Probably not......If the dt2 was a two stroke, it would be a little faster..

Not sure that the 1/2 hp would be noticible.....my 2.2 hp merc 2 stroke is faster on my 12' Jon boat than my neighbors 3 hp four stroke on the same boat.
