Gimbal Bearing Installation Questions Alpha 1 Gen 1

[1985 Century Mustang]

I just removed the gimbal bearing, and have a few questions. Alpha 1 Gen 1.

A. Does everyone still freeze the gimbal bearing before installation.
B. Is there a shaft seal behind the Gimbal Bearing on my configuration.
C. Because I'll be installing a new Gimbal (Bellows), should I remove the outer part of the bell housing where the trim sender hinge pins are etc, before I install the new gimbal bearing. Is it easier this way. And if u can give me any other pointers, I'd appreciate it, thanks.

I put mine in the freezer before installing. Can’t hurt.
no seal according to the manual. Do you have the manual? Got mine on line for 20 bucks. Best investment EVER!

there’s a ton of videos out there regarding the bellows installation. Several variations on the theme.
