Had a bearing go bad on my loadrite single axle roller boat trailer. I got a whole pre assembled hub at tractor supply but want to make sure the weight rating is OK. Box with the tractor supply hub says 1,750 lb capacity and the label on the trailer is attached below. Advertisement for my original hub shows 1,875 lb hub rating. Label on trailer tongue Shows gawr 2995 lb all axles . Does that mean 1497 lb per hub? If so I guess I'm fine. Just making sure.

No rating on hubs per se.
The bearings determine the load.
Same bearing size, same load

FWIW…..the seal in the tractor supply kit isn’t the best. Consider getting a higher quality seal for marine use.

but why did it fail in the first place?
Not sure. The seal went bad looks like some grit might have gotten in there. I made it back home 400 miles and no grease coming out of the seal on the tractor supply hub. Thanks for the help guys.
