2021 yamaha f200

I have blown up my 2 stroke and bought a 4 stroke...now I have a 704 control box with the 9 pin plug...engine also has 9 pin...question is this....is my ignition included in the plug or what do I need to run to the engine other then this plug

The main engine harness has ten pin connectors at each end. One of those pins in the connector being used for Yamaha motors that have have a choke system for fuel enrichment.

Your new motor, having fuel injection, does not use the wire for the choke.

Pushing your key in when starting the motor will now do nothing whatsoever. But some folks seem to think it helps their fuel injected motors start up more quickly.

Right o...plugged it in..gauges all work..everything works aside from dash switches and trim tabs.such an easy install

Alright...just launched boat....engine will not get up and plane and take off...just revs mostly....real crappy feeling...any suggestions on maybe linkage or

To what RPM is the motor reaching? Sounds like you might have a propeller problem.

4500 is were is backed off....it's a brand new prop out of the box wich the yamaha shop said was for this engine

there are a lot of props that will work on a motor, but not work with the hull they are on.
and make sure the motor is set at the proper depth

They asked what it's going on so they knew...this is how it sits in water...it is in the same spot as my last one

I cant send the picture....I have a feeling they gave me a left hand rotation prop

easy enough to see if that is what happened just by looking at it.
but we have no clule if you have a left or right lower unit

Forward gear spins the prop shaft clockwise

The dealership was closed yesterday so I couldn't talk to them however I did look up prop size for this motor and yamaha website said...14.5 x 17....not 13 1/4

Dealer confirmed they gave me wrong prop
