Hey all, I'm building my mini bar in the old Starcraft cabin cruiser and wanted to start a thread showing various in-boat bar setups/layouts. Please post away, looking for last minute cool ideas to possibly include.. Cheers!

Here's one to get it started.

Working with a small area, 25W x 14L. This is what I have built so far but want to add glass storage and other items.

Wall mount faucet is a good idea but there's a hole already cut out so it's too late for me
I also def don't prefer broken glass but I can't really sip a fine bourbon anchored at sunset out of a plastic cup in good conscience either so I think I am stuck with at least -some- glassware. Have a set of 6 rocks glasses I intend to have integrated somehow. Rest of drinkware will probably be plastic.

That's another thing I was hoping to see- clever ways to store glasses and shakers and whatnot that are rattle free but also convenient (not wrapped up in old socks or something lol) to grab.

New light, mat, and rocks glasses. Trying to figure out how to store glasses beneath in a secure yet convenient way. Thinking felt lined drawer type setup maybe...

You could try looking for those unbreakable glasses they use on Bar Rescue. They said they were made by Thundergroup, but I could never find any.

Here's one to get it started.

I built this table from that same flooring. I added the mahogany to the edges to hide the plywood veneer. It also has a sister table slid under it. Six coats of varnish sanded between each coat, then final coat is a rattle can of Matt Finnish to make it rather smooth.

I can understand the desire for glass so if you make a holder for them with wood base the foam with hole the size of the glass cut tight and then a layer of wood with holes cut slightly larger they will jam into the foam and be se ure in heavy seas, not rattle and if you build right no one will know. I may not know much about boats but I sure know a bunch about drinking...

Good idea, also you could get that spray on felt stuff to line the upper holes to cushion the glass a bit to?
