I think you might be able to get a tax break if you do that as well. I have given a car and a couple trucks away to young kids that need some help getting started in life. My friends think I’m crazy but at the end of the day the day the vehicles owed me nothing and it was happy to help them out.
Only one truck, but four times we have had people live with us for a year or so for the same reasons. Just got a text an hour ago from one thanking us for being parents when she needed them and 'raising' both her and her kid. The 4 year old kid is 18 today.I think you might be able to get a tax break if you do that as well. This is exactly what I need to happen. Unfortunately the tractor won’t start and I don’t have time to mess with it. I’m pretty sure the float either stuck or sunk. Gas probably went bad by now too.Listed a tractor on Market Place at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon. Rolled it on the guys trailer at 5:15 that evening
Fortunately, this was a diesel tractor (IH) with a Woods belly mower. It started right up, but the rear tire/inner tube would no longer hold air. This is exactly what I need to happen. Also plan on getting a tax document from ebay. I so,d a machine from work on my eBay acct ended up getting a 1099 or similar for $8 from ebay …Quick Update . . .
I've listed about 25 items on eBay. Half of them have sold totaling about $1K. I'm getting about 67% of the gross as a net into my account.
The other stuff has been on there for a couple of months, and I am not sure at this point if it is worth continuing to list them. Most of the higher dollar value items have sold.
