That doesn’t even look like a good option to me. I recommend the press type packer if a person wants a tool for the job. It can be hard to press in cool temperatures but it is faster than packing by hand. I used to step on mine to press the grease into the bearing. I’m fat enough these days I can lean into it and git er done.

I use the exact same one. I will stick it in a large vise if it's too cold out. I have a couple of them for different types of grease and the cap keeps everything clean so you don't have dirt issues like those screw together ones with the zerk fitting.
