Walker is part of my childhood. I’ve probably seen every episode just as I have MASH. But I watched Mash because I wanted to, I watched Walker because it was on.. still a pretty decent show. I never liked any of his movies. Remember Walker and the gym equipment infomercials.

beats sitting around getting fat.
No claims of exercise extending life, but no claims it doesn't .
Quality of life, however, is a claim and has merit, for which I can attest to.
I'd rather have my kids invest their time in some physical activity other than sitting around for hours with their faces buried in some screen.

My dad always said you die when you stop moving.

He made a point to get up and leave the house every morning. Either to met with his friends at the coffee shop or go to the YMCA to ride the exercise bike.

He died “suddenly” (stroke) while watching TV with my younger brother. He was 86 years old.

Yep , my Granddad was dead before he hit the floor and he was 80 something ........but you do see in obituaries "died suddenly after a long
illness" .........just means everyone was in denial .
I guess you could think that if one has been waiting 86 years to kark it you could hardly say it was sudden .

He was one of my moms drinking buddy’s back in the 90’s. Mom had a twinkle in her eye with every story. Mom had 16 years on him but I’m pretty sure that didn’t stop her from trying.
