Update got a welder making a bracket so I can raise motor .Im going to try thatHow do I adjust the high speed
Hopefully that will also strengthen the transom as well. That much weight and hp will weaken the transom over a short period of time. Here are pictures .I raised it 2 1/8 inches. Now with the pin in the first hole the front of the cavitation plate is slightly lower than the bottom of the hull.When adjusted all the way back it is slightly higher.Im going to try the second hole first..mI just redid the transom.Hopefully that will also strengthen the transom as well. That much weight and hp will weaken the transom over a short period of time. If you have any pics of the motor on the transom they might help us make sugestions.
