Quick question, the hand pump that threads on the oil dip stick, does this actually remove all the oil in the pan? If not -- how much remains?

Also, can anyone link me to the brass adapter I can thread on the "easy oil change tube" coming off the oil pan so it can be connected to a pump?

Anywhere between 1/2 to 1 quart

Should be 3/8 NPT male with 3/8 NPT female cap

Get a 3/8 NPT female to 3/8 barbed or straight fitting

I connect a 3/8 ID piece of gas line from the top of the dipstick with a hose clamp. I don't use the garden hose fitting

Thanks for the response. I had a cylinder misfire (plug porcelain was cracked, arcing to the block, so zero ignition) that (I believe) caused the oil to get contaminated with the unburnt fuel, and causing low oil pressure once warmed up.

I used the pump that threads on the dip stick but only got about 3.5 quarts out. So, I refilled with fresh oil, and changed the filter, but the pressure is still not where I want it but did improve. And I suspect it's the remaining contaminated oil (probably about 1 quart) causing the issue.

So, I want to do the oil change from the oil pan drain hose, but don't want to have to take the boat out of the water.

I will try the 3/8 fitting to connect to an oil extraction pump.

Let's make sure we are talking the same item
My understanding is you have a hose already connected to the oil pan and your wanting to connect that hose to the pump, correct?

If correct than what I said previous is still most likely correct. Reason to double check is I haven't seen your hose so this is a guess based on previous insight

That's correct. Engine already equipped with the hose, looking to connect it to an extraction pump.
